COURSE OVERVIEW
The Certificate in Communication Design (CCD) is a 4-semester comprehensive art & design fundamental studies programme. Students will be equipped with the basic knowledge and skills in art & design through theoretical and fundamental training, as well as in digital competence of practical work for further education or to support progression to apprenticeship in art & design or engage in a related sector.
This programme serves as a Level 3 Certificate of TVET qualification that enable students to demonstrate technical knowledge and acquisition of variety of technical skills and processes, including creativity, complex problem-solving, autonomy and responsibilities.
The programme facilitates independent learning skill by challenging students to solve design problems and think critically during the concept planning, idea development process and creative art engagement which will enrich their future career development as well as lifelong learning knowledge.
Upon completing the Certificate in Communication Design, students may opt to major in any of our offered Diploma programmes:
Digital Media Design
Digital Animation
Advertising & Graphic Design
Interior Design
Illustration
Fashion Design & Pattern Making
Film Visual Effects
Fine Arts
